Job Schedule: Full Time Standard Hours: 40 Job Shift: Shift 3 Shift Details: 40 hour nights. Flexible scheduling. Rotating weekends and holidays as needed. Work where every moment matters. On the Shea unit, our team of professionals provides skilled, compassionate care to our patients in a specialized, multi-level, inpatient unit. Our main 30-bed medical-surgical and telemetry unit is the core of our department with additional beds for step-down/PCU and orthopedic patients. We are a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team who are proud to serve our community. JOB SUMMARY Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelors Degree in a health related field- a qualified candidate in the process of completing the education requirement will be considered.Masters Degree in health related or business fieldpreferred. Experience: Applicable nurse specialty experience of at least 2 years. Charge or supervisory experience required. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Current Connecticut License Registered Nurse. Current BLS certification.Currently certified in ACLS or completion within 3 month of hire. PALS required within 6 months of hire. The Clinical Resource Leader (CRL) is recognized as the clinical expert in Patient Care Services and a leadership role model for Registered Nurses and all staff under their supervision. Directs the work in such a way to ensure the overall Patient Flow. This position will assign all patient care activities assuring that staff are qualified to care for assigned patients, support team members, and ensure quality and service excellence to our patients. They will also, facilitate challenging situations. The CRL will appropriately assign the workload. Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and developing staff performance.
Must have demonstrated appropriate clinical knowledge to evaluate and prioritize patient flow issues.
Must have demonstrated excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Previous supervisory experience.
Ability to set priorities, and supervisory skills to manage a work team
