Uber refers to UberEATs drivers as “delivery partners.” UberEATs Delivery drivers are independent contractors who pick up and drop off orders.

UberEATs drivers pick up food from local restaurants and deliver the order to customers. Food ordering is all handled for the driver by UberEATs, so the driver simply goes into the restaurant, picks up the food, and then drives to the customer's location. The driver may deliver the order curbside or to the door.

No experience necessary. But, if you have previous employment experience in delivery (such as a delivery driver, food service, food delivery, delivery runner, or courier) you may enjoy delivering with UberEats!

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The following job responsibilities are common for individuals in UberEATs Driver roles:

Use the delivery app, the Driver app, order delivery.

Collect the available delivery requests near you from the app.

If you are ready to deliver then tap the accept button.

Match the name and the order number in the app with the order to confirm they have the right one before leaving the restaurant.

If they don’t answer, tap the banner that appears to indicate that they didn’t answer. This will send them a notification.

If a restaurant takes longer to prepare the order, always notify your customer. For that tap the order details and report that the order is Not ready.

Once you arrive at the delivery location, use the app for details that the customer has provided, such as intercom and floor numbers that will help you locate them.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

You must be 19 years old.

You must have a driver's license, insurance, and proof of vehicle registration.

1 year of license history.

Vehicle requirements- 20 years old or newer.

Bicycle partners must be 18 years or older.

Vehicle requirement:

1) Car delivery Meet the minimum age to drive in your city.
Have a 2-door or 4-door car, made after 2000
Have a valid driver's license, registration, and vehicle insurance.
Have at least one year of driving experience.

2) Bike delivery Be at least 18 years old.
Have a government issued ID.
When signing up, be sure to Choose Delivery with a Bike or Biking under transportation method.

3) Scooter Deliver Be at least 19 years old.
Have a 2-wheel scooter, made after 2000.
Have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
