Enjoy Weekly Pay. Instacart is hiring more and more people for the role of Shopper. Shop from various stores and deliver the orders through your car and make some extra. Instacart includes both In-store Shopper and Full Service Shopper hence you may need to fulfill slightly different requirements and responsibilities for both the positions. The basic differences between an In-Store Shopper and a Full-Service Shopper are very simple.

There are several parts which require in order to make payment for batches:

  • A variable base payment for delivery
  • A variable incentive payment to encourage the shopper to accept the order
  • A mileage reimbursement at or slightly above the federal mileage reimbursement rate
  • An optional tip added at the customer’s discretion
  • A “bump” payment that makes up the difference between the sum of the above and Instacart’s $10 minimum payout per batch

    • As independent contractors, Full-service shoppers earning more than $400 are subject to self-employment tax and may be required to make quarterly estimated tax payments to state and federal revenue authorities. Instacart does not withhold any tax from full-service shoppers’ gross pay. Also, although they are reimbursed for miles driven, full-service drivers must pay vehicle expenses such as fuel and maintenance out of pocket as they incur them.

    Another benefit of working as a Full-Service shopper is they have the flexibility to work as little or as often as they want as independent contractors. This means that total earnings potential depends on the individual. You will be allowed to keep customer tips without any intervention. Besides, you will get opportunities to earn extra through promotions in Instacart.

    Basic Requirements

  • Age must be 18 years or above
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. or Canada

    • Basic Responsibilities

  • Start the instacart shopper app in android or iPhone and accept the batch
  • Check live chat and other avenues to determine customers’ orders
  • Look through order details to determine what may or may not be available
  • Provide clients with information and help on certain products
  • Respond to questions regarding items, such as fashion products
  • confirm customers’ orders, and inquire into additional requirements
  • Lock customers’ orders, and provide them with delivery timelines
  • Handpick items on customers’ lists, in the right order
  • Ensure that they are properly placed into carts
  • Check items at the end of the picking spree to ensure that no item has been missed
  • Run items through the checkout counter and pay for them through cash or credit/debit cards
  • Pack customers’ items and place them in vehicles
  • Drive vehicles safely to customers’ homes and offices
  • Provide customers with ordered items, and associated bills
  • Collect cash and tender change and receipts
