Instacart is hiring more and more people for the role of Shopper. Shop from various stores and deliver the orders through your car and make some extra. Instacart includes both In-store Shopper and Full Service Shopper hence you may need to fulfill slightly different requirements and responsibilities for both the positions. The basic differences between an In-Store Shopper and a Full-Service Shopper are very simple.
Full-service shoppers are independent contractors that use the Instacart platform to shop and deliver orders for their customers. This opportunity has lots of flexibility including:
You choose which batches you’d like to shop.No limit on how many batches you can fulfill.Flexible working hours.In-store shoppers are Instacart employees who, among other things, shop and stage orders in one store at a time. These part-time shoppers work:

Start the instacart shopper app in android or iPhone and accept the batchCheck live chat and other avenues to determine customers’ ordersLook through order details to determine what may or may not be availableProvide clients with information and help on certain productsRespond to questions regarding items, such as fashion productsconfirm customers’ orders, and inquire into additional requirementsLock customers’ orders, and provide them with delivery timelinesHandpick items on customers’ lists, in the right orderEnsure that they are properly placed into cartsCheck items at the end of the picking spree to ensure that no item has been missedRun items through the checkout counter and pay for them through cash or credit/debit cardsPack customers’ items and place them in vehiclesDrive vehicles safely to customers’ homes and officesProvide customers with ordered items, and associated billsCollect cash and tender change and receiptsTake and respond to calls regarding problems such as incorrect deliveriesHandle exchanges and returns through the application, and by following set protocols and regulationsEnsure that any negative feedback is taken into account and handled according to company policyUse feedback to improve customer servicesCreate and maintain logs of customer interactions on a daily basis.
