Job Description

In Amazon Warehouse there are a lot of job facilities available. Your experience and qualification will help you to grab the highest position. As an Amazon Warehouse Worker, you have to work in the busy warehouse settings. There will be Associates of Warehouse, Order Fulfilment workers, pickers and many more. As a worker in the warehouse, your basic responsibility will be picking, packing and uploading the ordered product in a systematic procedure.

Warehouse team workers need to do some physical tasks also. They sometimes need to lift some heavy warehouse products, engage in uploading and unloading of orders. Along with that you must learn to operate the warehouse equipment and other necessary tools for maintaining a systematic and hustle free order procedure. Some of the operators they need to learn about are forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and walkie-riders.

Job Functions

The basic job responsibilities of Amazon Warehouse Worker include:

Organizing the stocks and maintaining inventory.

Organizing warehouse space.

Understand the customer’s order and handle the orders in a systematic procedure.

Identify the ordered products in the storage area and pick them using forklifts for larger boxes.

Sending the products to the verifying area.

Examine the incoming and outgoing products.

Taking proper records of all outgoing and incoming Amazon order databases.

Safely upload the products to specific delivery vehicles. Proper safety measures for the ordered products must be done.

Maintaining a healthy and clean warehouse setting by following all the protocols.

Ensuring customer privacy.

Detect the defective returned products, putting them for sorting and reselling.

Contribute your ideas to fulfill the goals of the warehouse.

Lifting some basic heavy objects.

Job Requirements

Age must be above 18 years.

Education qualification- High school diploma or equivalent diploma.

Ability to lift some basic objects in the warehouse.

Long time physical fitness is preferred.

Knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools are preferred.

Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

Good communication skill.

Positive attitude for teamwork. Cooperation and coordination with the team workers is needed.

Previous experience is not needed but it would be regarded as a great eligibility criteria.

Good time management skill.
