Job Description

The job of a Picker Packer in Amazon is located in the warehouse settings. Your experience and qualification will help you to grab the highest position. As an Amazon Warehouse Picker you have to do some basic warehouse duties. Your basic responsibilities will include picking, packing and uploading the ordered product in a systematic procedure. As a Picker Packer you need to do some physical tasks also. Some basic physical tasks are involved in picking and packing of ordered products. The workers sometimes need to lift some heavy warehouse products while engaging in uploading and unloading of the orders. Besides, overtime duties may be required during the time of festivals and busy work periods.

Job Functions

The basic job responsibilities of Amazon Picker Packer includes-

  • Fulfilling picking tickets by locating ordered products.
  • Organizing the stocks.
  • Labelling the inventories.
  • For packaging, pick the ordered products by using forklifts tool.
  • Sending the products to the verifying area.
  • Receiving the incoming product and sending outgoing products.
  • Verifying incoming and outgoing products.
  • Taking proper records of all outgoing and incoming Amazon order databases.
  • Safety measures should be followed while uploading the ordered products to specific delivery vehicles.
  • Detecting the defective returned products, putting them for sorting and reselling.
  • Maintaining warehouse rules and regulations.

    • Job Requirements

  • Age must be above 18 years.
  • Education qualification- High school diploma or equivalent diploma.
  • Physical fitness and repetitive movements to do some basic tasks of lifting products.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and tools are preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
  • Good communication skill.
  • Positive attitude for teamwork. Cooperation and coordination with the team workers is needed.
  • Previous experience is not needed but it would be regarded as a great eligibility criteria.
  • Good time management skill.
